WebSavants is a Shopify Plus development studio built for brands that have outgrown the standard agency playbook.
The Premise
Every Shopify agency sells you one of two things.
We built WebSavants around the thing in between.
On one end: a theme with your logo dropped in, a stack of marketplace apps duct-taped together, and a launch date that matters more than what happens after it.
On the other: a six-month "digital transformation," priced for the deck, with a project manager for every developer actually touching code.
Neither one is really about the store. So we started WebSavants to work the way a good engineering team works — small, custom, and accountable to the system we ship, not the slide we pitched.
No reskinned themes. No app marketplace standing in for an architecture. Every storefront we build starts from Liquid and your actual catalog, not a template's guess at one.
The Operating Spec

CLAUSE 01
Purpose-built, at every scale.
Not every project needs to start from scratch. We choose the right foundation for the job — refining proven themes when they make sense and building custom experiences when they don’t.
CLAUSE 02
Performance is a feature.
Load time, Core Web Vitals, and checkout speed are design decisions made on day one — not a punch list a client's next agency hands us.
CLAUSE 03
Integrations get tested under pressure.
APIs fail under real traffic, not demo traffic. We break our own integrations first, on synthetic load, so your customers never do.
CLAUSE 04
We ship the boring parts too.
Empty carts, out-of-stock states, failed payments, edge-case SKUs. The 5% nobody demos is usually the 5% that loses a sale.
CLAUSE 05
Own the code when it makes sense.
Every installed app is rent, a dependency, and a support ticket waiting to happen. When clean code can replace an app, we'd rather own the solution.
